Default sts fitment on a 4X4 2500 HD Crewcab

Hey all,

I'm currently installing an STS on my truck. It seems the pipes are not all there or I've got the wrong pipes. Anybody installed one on this body style and can shoot me a pic of the first 2 pipes out of the turbo. There seems to be a 45 or 90 missing. I also seem to have a small issue with the first pipe coming into the engine bay, it wants to aim for the exhaust manifold. I can bend the silicone to make it fit, I think anyway, but it just doesn't look correct.

Finally, what injectors for 10-12 lbs, what are you doing for fuel pumps, inline or intank?

thanks mike

Yes I've talked to Brandon, They forgot to ask me what size my duals were and sent me the small y-pipe. They've been great, just almost impossible to reach. Think they may need a few more people on staff I bought this kit off another truck with 200 miles on it with the ele. boost controler, meth inj. & 55 gallons of methonal for 4 grand. It looks like new. Had to get with STS since his truck was an extended & mine is a crewcab.

What boost are you running?

If you can't get your contact at STS, try Dave South at STS too! He has helped me a ton with anything I asked.
I have a new pipe that comes off the turbo in the garage waiting to be installed, I'll snap a pic and try to get it posted up. Don't know if it will be the same for your set-up, don't know if you have the upgrade from the base kit or not.
Off to take a pic!

Here it is.
The I.D. on the larger end is 2-3/8" and the smaller end's I.D. is about
1-15/16". Hope this helps, good luck on the install!

I think either will work and just keep trying I guess. If you get voice mail leave a message and be patient.

Thanks guys I got'em. It seems the frame rails on the HD require a "Hummer" turbo out pipe. Talked to Brandon yesterday & the parts I need are at the coaters so he'll call me when they ship. In the mean time should I just go with the 60lbs injectors instead of the 42-44lbs injectors. I'm going to tow with this vehicle some. It will be air/air intercooled @ 10 lbs all the time. Also who has the best dweal on injectors.

mike

I would recommend going with 60lbs. But they are not a dirrect fit. You will need to splice some wires and get a harness to fit them. There used to be a company that was a sponsor on LS1 Tech that cold them but I dont think they are a sponsor anymore..........
