Like the tile says. Im wondering if I am going to have problems out at the deer lease with the kit on the truck. Im going to relocate the filter way up into the bed side also.

I don't do any real off-roading but have driven through countless lake-like puddles and through dirt and gravel roads where I live.
I think as long as your not ripping through the mud like a 14 year old on crack you'll be ok.
If your not worried about the appearance of all the pipes under the truck I say go for it. Relocating your filter would be a must do as you already stated.
Oh yeah, after relocating my air filters up in the wheel well, I even drive through the car wash again with underbody flush!

I haven't had any problems on muddy roads but I don't get off into the nasty stuff; ie. ruts deeper than the sidewalls. I haven't relocated the filter and just run the sock. Rinse it off when I get home or if it gets caked up.

Well I dontt really do alot of mud bogging its just that some of the trails to the deer feeders are really muddy and there is a need to put pedal to the floor and get after it, thats why I asked. The places that I go arent necessarily real deep but its in teh TX hill country and the **** is SLICK and the only thing that keeps you going is wheel speed and with 1000#s of corn in the bed I was just wondering. If need be I can pack it all on the four wheeler but thats a PITA I dont reall want to deal with.

If your roads are like ours in Brady, you won't have a problem with most of them. There is one stretch of "road" on ours that I wouldn't go near under certain conditions even if I didn't have the butt turbo! I take the long way around it. Good luck this year. Hope you guys have more water than we do!

Where are you from? Im going to have to look and see how Im going to relocate the filter and go from there. Hopefully the mud wont mess up the WG, or maybe Ill just get the ole 72 bronco fixed up and use it.

Youll be fine Cody, I went to my Cabin every weekend off roading no problems, you just have to use your head and TRY to avoid large areas of deep water. Just get the snorkel on for off roading ,youll be fine.

I'm in the D/FW area. If you think you'll be in water up to, or just below the frame rails then yeah, I'd snorkel it. Water getting pushed by the front tires will probably breech each other about mid-truck....right where the filter is.
