Getting a stock Radix kit soon...and Im gonna run ti stock for a few weeks to amke sure its A---ok...then I want to put a smaller pulley on and Dyno Tune it...

Specs: 99rcsb 5.3, 2wd headers, cats, pipes, mufflers....will ahve stock radix kit, and a tansgo shift and a connax servo.

Q: What size pulley would I get?? What is a good streetable size pulley, but will give me some more boost.???

3.0 pulley I hear is the most people do stock.

 

I would not go smaller than a 3.2 on a stock 5.3 L. That will be 8-9 psi.

The one kit is gonna be for a 100% stock truck...other one has full exhaust, including headers, and a shift kit and a servo.....so Will my superchips have a different program in it...Ive heard that You get the tuner specific for your app....

So these guys with 3.0 and smallers are using what cams etc to do that i guess?

 

Most guys with a 3.0 or smaller pulley are running a 6L engine. They are still making 8-10psi but with more cubes.
