Started Trick install on my truck

Looks good, but I'm interested in seeing how that oil return is going to work for ya. Yes it returns above the oil level, but your always going to have a "loop" of oil sitting in the hose that is going to have to be "pushed'' up hill into the pan. Could cause a bit of a back up during high oiling situations. I hope it works for ya.

Got a decent tune on it today.Truck runs awesome.Feels like a 408ci in there now.I'm running 7lbs off the wastegate and 18 degree's of timing with no hint's of KR.Full spool is around 2k rpm with a locked converter. As for noise,it is louder but in a good way.The exhaust has alot deeper note with no Cats and the Corsa cat back.Inlet temps are 10 degree's higher than outside and about 15-20 degree's after a full run so the intercooler works great. No meth yet.
As for the oil return,I doubt it will ever be a problem due to the oil weight from the turbo almost 2' above it.I've seen turbo's below the pan that the return's worked without pumps.Time will tell.
Here are a few pics. The 4th one shows the only pipe you have to make for the basic kit.It is quick disconnect.

Nice and clean setup. Are you worried at all about flex of the downpipe during engine torque? I went ahead and put a flex in just in case. I am also running the Corsa (Sport) catback. It is definitely louder without a cat... but you're right... loud in a very good way
.... certainly no drone in the cabin.
If you can please post up a dyno at 7psi and 18 degrees.... and then after your tune with meth.
And thanks for sharing your install with us

Bill, the stock exhaust doesn't have any flex to the cat back, so I would think it should be ok with out them. My exhaust note changed a lot to with my front mount, even though I used the same muffler, just relocated it from the tip of the tail pipe back to the stock location where the sts was. Course, I did build an all new 3" exhaust from the turbo to the tail pipe with 3" tube and mandrel bends. It a bit louder and a deeper tone. Funny how that works, but I like it.
Looks good

Bill,I thought about the flex but didn't have one here at the time. I was more worried about easy removal of the Downpipe since it comes out the bottom. Also my thought was that adding a flex would be very easy after with the pipe I made.
As for power we will see.Even though I have full access to a dyno doesn't mean I like running my own vehicle on it.When I'm ready with the meth, manual boost controller I'll probly hit the dyno and see how she does.I would like to see 7lbs (towing boost)10lbs (DD) and a 14lb (if the little turbo can do it) pulls.
Right now I think this exhaust will do just fine.In the future when it gets a bigger motor, turbo ect I'll fab up a full 4" out of a Diesal setup.

I was just worried about flexing of the v-band connections. I have 2... one at the turbo and one at the bottom of the firewall. I didn't think weight of the amount of pipe hanging off the back of the turbo would be a problem because I still utilize the hangers... so the cat-back is fully supported. Right now I have no leaks... and hoping it stays that way.
What are your thoughts on when its time to upgrade to a 4" down pipe?... power and/or turbo size wise? Is it more driven by turbine size? say Q-trim and up?
Thanks man... and good job!

) the 07's have a flex joint after that connection point in your pic. Question for you, I notice you ran the breather hose directly into the airfilter. I guess that is what I am seeing in the pic, anyway.
Do you have an oil seporator in that line?
What does the butt dyno tell you?
