This is what i had to trim out the bottom part of the grille to get it to go all the way in and have about a **** hair of room between the intercooler, and this is there 3" basic intercooler

 

Despite the cutting and what not are you happy with the kit ? I'm really thinking of ordering this kit.

The craftmanship is real good, all the cutting and fitting took alot of time but i went ahead and put in some ls6 springs, ive read alot of bad reviews on the injectors so im just gonna put a set of siemen deka 60's in the first time to make sure theres no fueling problems.

But as far as the intercooler problems, if you have the 03-06 silverado then you shouldnt have any problems.

Well..... I decided to try the ON3 injectors just to see how they were,
I ordered the 55# injector upgrade with plug and play harness and when i was puttin them in i noticed the plug was roundish and the harness was square but i tried and no luck, had my LS hoarding cousin get me a f-body camaro injector and the harness plugged right in, so they sent me the wrong harness to adapt to my injector plug ins. Little pissed about that....

But luckily my cousin had a set of the right harness pig tails from a trailblazer intake swap of his, so thats resolved for now...

As you can see theres two different pieces, one with the lip is for the bigger hose as shown

 

Another member had to notch his frame to get the WG tube to fit.

The nipple from the TB to the passenger valve cover needs to be capped off.

The issue with the intercooler is not specific to ON3/china - other kits put the IC between the frame rails down low.
