If you want to get into a forced induction system and your on a tight budget the Stage 1 kit is for you. This kit gets you on your way to being boosted in the shortest amount of time. Intercooler is not supplied to keep the costs down and install time to a minimum. The intercooler can be purchased later for higher hp.
The Stage 1 is built to deliver more horsepower then any other kit at this price range. If you have a weekend and common hand tools you can install this kit and start having boosted fun right away.

might as well get the first reply here too! anyway i was reading on your web site and noticed that the fitment is for 2wd trucks. what about 2wd suv's? (2wd suv has same suspension as 4wd sure you know, just trying to be clear with my question.)

 

well i see it still uses a MAF, with say a set of injectors a fuel pump and a tune what kind of numbers or gains are you guys seeing? This kit is got me thinking HARD.

Kits comes with a 70mm turbo, standard. This turbo is good for 550HP to the ground. Thick wall swept runner turbo manifold, uses 3/8" flanges that are TIG welded. This gives the best looking welds and great heat control during the welding process. 38mm waste gate keeps the boost under controll. Standard waste gate configuration is vented to the atmosphere. This allows you to hear when the gate is open. The cold pipe has bead rolled ends. A 44mm blow off keeps away the turbo surge, and it just sounds cool. Releasing all the boosted air from turbo to throttle when you lift off the throttle. The blowoff protects the turbos for turbo surge and protects the throttle body from having boost pushing on a closed throttle blade. HI boost pressure with out a blowoff can result in damage to your turbo and throttle body blade or shaft. Bent aluminized steel crossover and downpipe and NO intercooler, helps keep this kit in anyones budget.Without an intercooler max boost should be kept to 7psi and down. This is an entry level kit.
Kit is designed for 99-2010 GM trucks.

This is a bare to the bones kit without and ic. I would call this a first timers street kit. Not a 370 I going racing kit. Lol
