Anyone picked up one of Rick's stage 1's yet?? Been thinking of a Maggie and about 7 psi but this could do ok i think with similar boost..

This is a great priced kit guys.

My first turbo kit on BRT had no intercooler -- I did install an alky kontrols meth kit (~$400) and ran straight meth, though. At the time, I lived in Orlando, and was able to run 10psi without blowing anything up (except my transmission!). you'll need a good tune and good gas, but you can make a ton of power.

DO IT DO IT DO IT.

At this price, you basically have to if you want to go turbo and are strapped for cash!

Oh, and BTW, I can speak for the quality of Rick's work. I have a custom kit from Rick (see the link in my sig for pics and stuffs).

Turbo Berserker, how do you think this kit would compare on a stock type 5.3 vs a maggie at the same PSI??? I would think 7-8 would be comparable except the maggie may boost faster...

That's a tough one. Depends on a lot of factors, but with a meth kit and tune, you'll likely make more power with the turbo, but be into the boost quicker with the maggie. However, size the turbine right, and that might not be true.

My twins made boost instantly on the remote mount setup.
