Hmmm. Well I've heard about pinning the crank. Maybe I'll get one of those HD tensioners and pin kits. Is it a difficult thing to do? The slipping doesn't seem to happen that often but eventually it's an issue I'd like to solve. Also I'm curious what's the worst that could happen from this slipping?

Noises, loose crank pulley bolt, pulley misalignment-belts being thrown, walking part way off the pulley, shredding.

In my case I thought it was just the belt until the belt started walking forward on the blower pulley. That's when I checked the bolt and found that it had loosened up.

Well don't think my crank pulley is spinning because I haven't had any of that happen. So I guess for now I'm ok.

Hey Motion427. Please let me know how that HD tensioner works out for you. If it seems to eliminate your belt slipping problem then I'm definitely going to pick one up.
