My twins are in fabrication right now. I have a heavy 4wd truck. I have been running a 2.4 twin screw. I really like the instant boost and low end power it provides. I am changing because we have reached the power limit of this blower. My turbo specialist, after driving my truck said that the proper twin set up will equal or exceed the low end power I have now and that it would not be possible to match with a single. Since the twins will provide about 10 lbs more boost at a lower temp, they are projecting about 150 more rwhp. I'll tell you in about 3 more weeks.

There aren't many big singles that'll spool as fast as properly sized twins. The S series line of turbos would though, like an S-85 or S-88. But the price of one of those is just as much if not more than two T3/T4 60-1's. Plus fitment with an S series turbo can be an issue. I'm don't think I'm going to vote on this since I'm going through the very same debate on for myself and it sucks.

Agreed,
you can make just as much power with a good single, and spool just as fast.
A single uses all the exhaust flow to spool one turbo. A twin you split that, and you have to run 2 smaller turbos to get the same performance/spool rate.

So pic the one you like the look of because the performance I feel could be made the same with either combo..

I don't know either. Twins would be cool, but singles are cheaper. Most TT imports usually go to a big single Turbo.

Also the single will be less complex. Since you told me way back when you are okay with it not spooling up until the 4k range, slap a big thumper on there.
