Default Single or Twin???

I am having to make a decision, and thats whether I want to go a t-70 up front... or 2 smaller turbos at the headers or behind!!!

The cost isnt that much difference!!

Any input is appreciated!!!

I would go with the twins after the headers to keep the teperature low

I had a similar idea that I wanted to try with the stock manifolds, then small twins (GT-32s or T3/T4s), then high flow cats and dumps. I think the twins would be great for street driving, 0-60 times and such.

Twins JK I think your single turbo setup will turn out good. Ill tell you what when I get my truck done and you get your truck done we will line them up and see which setup is faster

I had a 1992 GMC Typhoon that was (single) turbo charged with air2water intercooler. I think you would have less turbo lag with 2 smaller turbos vice 1 large one. The small turbos spool real fast, especially the ball bearing ones. They would not have to work as hard either which would reduce the heat soak. You could run 2 air2air intercoolers with CO2 and small fans for the track.

Turbo setups become real expensive real fast. If you take your time and do it right the first time it wont be as expensive.

I was toying with the idea of using the A/C to chill the intercoolers before I sold the Typhoon. It all boils down to space and your fabrication skills. There are alot of kits out there now.
