Should vented catch can be smoking on 6.0 LS?

I agree with Kyle, (rings ) but would not
Replace motor if where me I would remove
Bad holes inspect ring and ring lands
And end gap and reassess...!!!

Number 7 always runs the hottest and so is usually the one to fail.

If it went in at 40 and came out at 20 pretty good bet that piston/debris hit it, or detonation alone forced it more together. Post a picture of the plug.

That's a lot of oil, you got a injured hole for sure. I am with the others, I bet your top ring land is shot.

I little note, the threads get oily because when you get even little oil past the rings, it get pushed up the treads by compression before the flame is lit and then it stays there and doesn't get burned during combustion. A normal healthy LS motor shouldn't have any oil on the spark plug threads.

In that case, 6 of 8 plugs had oil on the threads, lol. They weren't all as bad as #7 but they did have oil on them.
