Share your DIY turbo kits
#54
Hey guys thinking about doing a DIY turbo kit next summer since I recieved $5000+ in scholarships for next semester
Probably thinking about rear mount since I don't want to back track and get front mount turbo headers
looking for 5-7psi set up due to stock short block
looking for something to spool super quick like around 1500rpms -6000rpms
60mm? Will wrap the exhaust to help spool time as well
my cam wont be the best turbo cam but should be better than stock and mimic the ls6 cam
210/218 .584/.584 116Lsa

Man, I see this thread and the scholarship thread that has been bumped many times.
Just a suggestion, but I wouldn't look towards a performance truck enthusiast website for information and tips in regards to school grants and loans. Sure, we may have a little information from what we experienced when we went to school, but finance departments and school counselors SPECIALIZE in this stuff and deal with it day in and day out. I would be contacting them, dig through the web, go to Sallie Mae's website, go to FAFSA's website, search google, use different terms. The internet is a hugely powerful tool, you can gain way more knowledge about the subject doing some in depth research than bumping a couple threads on this website.
You may already be doing that, but I think the other thread about scholarships gave you pretty much all we have to offer, and it keeps getting bumped to the top.
