That's the reason I liked my turbo. Before it was just a stock 5.3 with minor bolt ons, 4l60e, and 3.23 gears with a tune, I could never manage to get over 13.5mpg on the highway. Now with the 80e and stock 3.23's my cruising speed at 70-75 is around 1600rpm and break over 20mpg.
But switching to 4.10's soon so that's gonna go down.

The two hour trip from the dyno and the roads a would say are normal up and down and would jump to 5th gear at time before the turbo. I would get 18 at best. With the turbo on flat roads I would get 21mpg for sure. I will check my mileage to work and highway to gave you guys a all around mpg reading.

Yes, a turbo kit that makes for better gas mileage and burn the tire too.

Any plans for the track?
Yes, I'm going to the track soon. I have to get rims for my 305 drag radials. Because it will fry the tires in the first three gears. Going on stock rubber is a waste.
