Default remote mount blower?

why couldnt a blower be mounted remotely, and run the compressed side through a FMIC?

Magnacharger had one, and it was the first kit they made for our trucks. It's commonly refered to as a sidemount. Also Whipple's are done this way too, but for whatever reason, they couldn't position the blower properly so a FMIC or any IC for that matter requires a tight radius elbow on both the blower outlet and the TB inlet.

i have a sidemount and i just got e-fans so i have alot more room to work,
im looking into a fmic set up durring the summer.
if you come up with something let me know.

you cant mount it too remotely...without some nasty belts/jackshafts...unless you run it off the tranny output or something lame...just run an air to water IC

yea I was thinking remote mount off the side of the intake or something similar. nothing too radical. Its my DD so I'll most likely go with an intercooled maggie.

LOL just mount it under the truck and spin it off the drive shaft.
