Default New STS WG location.

Does anyone have a picture of the new WG piping for the STS kit? I have the old set up and am having issues with it filling with water all the time.

The water in the waste gate is from condensation in the exhaust, NOT FROM GOING OFF ROAD.

The first design of the piping has the waste gate on the bottom of the pipe, so condensation (water) can build up in the waste gate.

Thanks that is excactly what I was looking for. I think I can modify mine or maybe have STS just send me the nes pipe. Thanks again.

The wastegate sound will be noticeably louder venting to the air.
I still just have mine flipped as I don't have a welder to put my new STS pipe on yet. I have checked and the condensation is very slight now.
Overall its quite a bit louder, some really wild sounds come out of the wastegate when your hard on the gas and let off abruptly, it seems to be a little better at venting off the boost as well.
I have not sucked up any water since installing my kit a year and a few months ago, but I don't drive through rivers and ponds with my truck either.

I went to home depot and bought some metal stock and fabbed up a block off plate after flipping my wastegate. It took about 5 minutes and cost $5.

yes, you will want to make a block off plate for the exhaust pipe though

I just got back from carolina and cant beleive i missed this thread! Any way JOHN1L40 just flip your wastegate around and it will work great and sound even better!I also had STS exchange my old pipe for the new design free of charge.
