I have had zero issues with my trick kit. Ive been running it for almost a year now, DD and tow vehicle. The only part that has given up on me is the tranny, which is the turbos fault for making that much power and my fault for using the power, lol. Other than that it drives just like any other truck but alittle faster. If you are deciding between a blower or turbo Id definatly go with the maggie or the Trick kit. Im just partial to turbos and like how they perform.

Without any real world experience, I'm leaning on you guys for your input. I've never owned a FI vehicle, but sure love the idea of a turbo with my application. The 80E and 3.73s in this heavy truck seems to lend itself nicely for spooling up the turbo. Is that a fair assessment?

I think you're a perfect cantidate for a turbo!

My small block combo has been together for 6 years. I tow with it and everything. Same turbo, same motor combo. I don't daily drive it, so it's a little shy of 40K miles in that time. All I've done is change the oil.

Killed both the transmission and the rear differential. Had both rebuilt as well as I could and both of them have been solid for almost 5 years. I've had to have two welds on the up pipe fixed, too.

Sounds like a turbo would work out very nice for you.
I think the biggest different in reliability is the tune. Good parts can't fix a crappy tune. and IMO the radix is way easier to tune vs. ANY turbo kit. Boost can come on at any time with a turbo. A radix is more cut and dry.
