Sounds like the radix guys have virtually no problems, so that sounds like an easy way to build a reliable FI system for a DD. But I really like the way everyone talks about how a turbo pulls. At the same time guys say not to get a turbo if you don't want to be tweaking it forever. Is this true? How long can a turbo truck run at about 8 lbs withought having problems? (turbo problems, not motor/tranny/rear problems)

Can it be done, sure it can be done. I dont think one is any more reliable than the other, I think the reliability comes in the supporting parts and kit quality. There is only ONE turbo kit that I would use if I were crazy enough to go turbo again, and that would be Trick.
That being said, just put a TVS1900 on it and get the best of both worlds.

I think the final reliablitiy has alot to do with parts being used, and the person using those parts. ( I have done several blowers in past from rotors, to centi,) and If I where to do a blower right now I would use the Mag., I would want the larger blower and maybe tweek
a few things.

Yep. Trick makes an excellent kit and I would install one of 'em in a heart beat. Maggies kick ***, and if I were doing a blower on a vehichle (
) I would be calling Brian.
To answer the question, though, "tweeking" does not imply unreliable. A large part of this comes from how easy it is to push more out of the turbo, etc. I would be tweaking the hell out of my Trick kit
Then again, I tweek the hell out of every thing I drive...
In terms of reliability, I believe any FI option will require more preventative maintenance (as will any high performance engine of similar HP), and between a blower and a turbo, the turbo will take a tad bit more.

Not running a Trick but I've been running 8psi on the STS for the past year with absolutely no problems. It's in the tune and quality of install. Trick is a great kit and what I would go to if I did it all over again.
