The turbo on my truck started to smoke the other day so I drove it back home. Im sure it just needs seals and bearings. I think its just a regular 60 that comes in the STS kits. Its probably 4 or 5 years old. I'm wondering who you guys would send it to that is priced reasonably. There is a guy in the same town I live in that is supposedly the guy that rebuilds all of STS's turbos but can't get in touch with him. He originally told me $150 so then I went and took the turbo off the truck and now no one can get ahold of him. Any ideas where to send it to?

Yea Reed built the turbo on my Buick back in like 2002. This guys name is Keith Newton he's in Tuscaloosa. How much is Reed charging you if you don't mind me asking?

 

I really don't know, I just asked him to look them over and if they needed any real work we would go from there... But he's not actually replacig any parts or anything so I'm not sure. But he is always more than fair!!!!!!!

 

Cool if I don't hear anything back from this guy I will call Reed.
