Default From rear mount to front mount, new tune?

I had a Magnum t72 ball bearing turbo on a STS rear mount kit with a Nelson mail in tune. I just went front mount with Trick hot pipes and same turbo. Do I need a retune for moving the location of turbo?

If its speed density you could probably get away with it. If its MAF, it needs a retune.

Wow, what a quick reply! Yeah I still running MAF, I'll add retune to my list. If anyone is still contemplating a front mount turbo, DO IT NOW!!! It's so much better then rear mount even though I still need a retune. It spools so much faster.

I would definitely retune it and get away from the MAF unless its a nnbs

Living in Hawaii the best I can do is a Nelson mail order tune since I don't have a clue when it comes to tuning. So pretty much I'll stick with MAF.

You mean the wastegate noise?

No not the wastegate. I had cats with my rear mount and used the turbo as my muffler, so I could really hear my turbo whistle. Now I have a 3.5" magnaflow after the turbo and can barely hear the turbo whistle. Still audible though.
