Im running about 8.5 psi with a 2.9 pulley on an LQ4 6.0 with true duals. My AFR is 11.8.

I think you should be running more like a 3.0-3.1 pulley if the engine is a 5.3. Not sure how you are going to make decent power without the pcm pulling significant timing from very high IAT's.

I say run less boost and more timing...

9lbs. peak boost with 3.2" pulley. A/F is ~11.6
Going to dyno today and work on the mix a little more.

I agree with J too.

Then take that 2.9 off and install a 3.2, get it tuned and get on with your life.

About 9psi. I shoot for 11.8 AFR with methanol and about 11.6 without.

Im running about 7.5 psi with a 3.0 pulley on an LQ4 6.0 with true duals. My AFR is 11.5 through fist and second gear and than 10.5 in third.

ive got the 2.7 on now. i think ill go with the 2.9 and shoot for 11.5 a/f ratio across the board. that should be safe huh? i think it pulles about 9lbs or so with the 2.9.

3.25" pulley, about 10 psi max., and AFR around 11.0. So far so good.

Fresh install was 6.5lbs and 11.8 AFR...custom tune was 12.2 AFR...gave me a little more power in humid conditions, and burns like a champ in cold weather!

Something is not right if you are making just 9psi with a 2.9 pulley on a 5.3. I hit 9psi with a 3.1 pulley on a 5.3.
