Default radix newbe

Ok picked up a 6.0 engine for 500 bucks after looking at different power adders for my 6.0 i decided that radix will be the best FI choice for my truck since my goal is 420-500hp/12's or high 11's. Anyway i have some questions about mods to complement a radix.

These are parts I think I'll need to build a "blower motor".

1) exahust- Im thinkin LT headers and a gibson "super truck system".

2) I already have a 02 Z06 cam ( I know there are other cams out there but i got a good deal on it)

3) Ported Oil pump and timing chain (double one).

4) heads- keep my 317 since they are good for low compression and get larger exhaust and intake valves and some porting and comp 918 springs.

5) underdrive crank pulley. i've done some research but i don't know wich pulley will work better with a 3.0 or 2.75 radix pulley. i red something about smaller pulleys being good for adding some extra power n boost but you need to have other mods in order to run a smaller pulley???

6) what mods am i missing?? i've red several radix threads but i just want to make sure im not missing anithing. i already bought a set of mahle low compression pistons and scat rods so i don't think i messed up buying those parts so far...

thanks in advance

Pin the stock crank pulley and go with the 3" supercharger pulley.Low 12s should be easy,11s are doable in RCSB with a aggressive tune and slicks

LT headers yes, not sure about the Gibson, my last gibson was a bit quiet.

You might want to rethink this?

3) Ported Oil pump and timing chain (double one).

Sounds good

I dont think the UDP will work with the Radix well, it will slow it down=less boost. Start with the 3" pulley and like Whitt1 said pin the crank pulley.
6) what mods am i missing?? i've red several radix threads but i just want to make sure im not missing anithing. i already bought a set of mahle low compression pistons and scat rods so i don't think i messed up buying those parts so far...
Intake, free flowing exhaust, the right cam, and TUNE. What tuning do you plan on running?

What do you already have? What about the transmission, rear end and gearing? Torque converter? If you want 11's you are going to need an orchestra of parts.

The underdrive pulley will work against you as stated above.
Long tubes are good
What are the specs on the cam you got?
Get an AirAid intake or somethin like that
The trans will need a shift kit at a minimum.
The tune is the most important part, get it done on a dyno with somebody who knows what they are doing.

If you are gonna do a cam swap... Lingenfelter GT2-3

An underdrive harmonic balancer is counterproductive to belt driven forced induction. Trying to compensate with a smaller supercharger pulley open you up to more headaches...

If you haven't bought a ported oil pump... don't... you can port one yourself... be surprised how easy it is.

... also may want to check on how healthy that $500 motor is...

UPD works fine with a Radix, just shorten the Radix tube about an inch or so.I've run a UPD lid for about 4 years.I did cut a 4" hole in the bottom to run ramair under the front bumper.

I know i wont see 11's for a while but after i'm done buliding the engine I'm getting a level 5 FTL it should be good for the power i want to make. i was thinking a t56 will be sick since i love manual trannys but i decided to leave that for my next project (WS6 M6 someday ) and an "undestroyable" 4l80 is not needed it for my goal besisdes the fact that is not a plug and play kinda deal.

i already have the following parts:

6.0 engine and 317 heads out of a 2002 truck
02 LS6 cam which i think is good but i'm having second thought about it.
4005." mahle pistons
6.125 scat rods
turbo that i'm gonna be selling soon (nothing fancy just a 87' GNX i know it sucks)
20x9.5 Foose Speedster 6 with 275/45/20 tires ( i love 'em )

for looks i have all the SS cladding and front SS bumber cover but i just dont wanna be driving around in a truck with a 4.8 = that looks like a reg cab Silvy SS
And a 2/4 mc g's kit that i haven't had a chance to install jet
