Default Radix new install and won't start now...

Hi,
I just installed a new Radix and it won't start. It shuts down as soon as the engine fires. Any ideas?

It's a 2004 5.3... I double checked the wiring and the fuel pump was installed and tested prior to the supercharger install. It doesn't throw any codes or check engine lights.

I'm clueless now...

Thanks...

if you put a new tune in you may have to do a relearn

1. First, insert the ignition key and turn the ignition switch to the “On” position (Do not start the engine). Leave the switch on for 11 minutes. The security light may flash or be on steady during this 11 minute period. Make sure the light is no longer on or flashing before proceeding to #2 .
2. Turn the ignition switch off for 30 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the “On” position (as in step #1) for 11 minutes again.
4. Turn the ignition switch off for another 30 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the “On” position for 11 minutes a third time.
6. Turn the ignition switch off for 30 seconds one final time.
7. Turn the ignition switch to the “On” position one final time and wait 30 seconds.
8. Attempt to start the engine. If the engine starts and runs normally, the relearn is complete. If the engine does not start, check for trouble codes and address them before attempting the relearn procedure again.

hope this helps

Thanks...

I just tried the relearn with the same results...

Also still no error codes to give me a clue.

This is getting very frustrating

Any other ideas to try?

Do you have any way to check fuel rail pressure??? I know you said you checked the pump, but if it wont start after relearn I would start going back over everything you did.

I'm getting a fuel preasure guage to check that today. If for nothing else so I have more info when I call tech support tomorrow.

You're exactly right though... I'm doubled checking everything again today since I'm at a loss.

Again thanks for the ideas and help...

Is it still running on it's own for a second before it shuts off?

Sounds like a fueling issue.

Just did a pressure check and I have 45 lbs. when the pump cycles on and 58 lbs. when it tries to start. Does that sound about right?

Fuel pressure sounds ok.

What did you use for a tune, the Magna Superchips programmer?

Almost sounds like the computer security stuff is shutting it down.

I'm trying to think of things that would cause this with a radix install and fuel and tune are the only things I can think of.
