Default Radix belt wear?

Noticed some belt dust on the back of the Radix snout support and on the alternator. Also little bits of rubber on top of the fan shroud and coolant tanks. I have the stock Radix setup with less than 1000 miles on it. Is this normal belt wear?

Mine "dusted" a bit at first. It might be a belt "break-in" thing. I didn't keep the stock pulley long enough to see if it went away or stopped... LOL When I swapped pulleys it caused a bit more dust.

Since I went to a gatorback belt it never dusts or slips.

Here ya go. Already brushed off some if it. Couldn't get a good pic of the fine stuff on the back of the snout support in the bright sunlight. You can get an idea of the size of the bits from the ones on the fan shroud. Will be away til Monday pm.

Thanks

from what I can see in the pic, your belt looks new and in good shape.

we could stand to see a bit more of it though.

If it starts coming apart though, and you have the Magnuson warranty, they will cover it

Thanks. I carry a spare just in case. Just wanted to be sure this is normal and not a sign that something isn't right. Didn't see this before the Radix install or on the 5.3 in my trailblazer. Don't want to break anything.
