Hello..hopefully some one can help me out. DTC #1221 keeps coming up. SES light on, reduced engine power also lights up.This happens just driving around town.When I clear the fault with my interceptor scan gauge, Im able to continue driving. It started about 10 months after the radix and headers were installed..I even removed the radix ( superchips tune) to stock...then re-installed it. I replaced the TPS and throttle body....truck is a 02 Tahoe ..Im not sure the radix has anything to do with this problem. any Ideas? Thanks

 

P1221 = Throttle Position Sensor 1-2 Correlation

I can't be any more help than that, but that's what the code is. Might check the wiring to the throttle position sensor.

 

sounds to me like the wire extensions to the TB are either crossed or not crimped with quality connectors.

Yep, happens to me sometimes when I clean my engine. I have a 90mm TB and a pigtail for it that isn't so watertight. I have to pull it apart and blow the water out... so could be a connection problem.
