Radix setup needs good vacuum for the bypass to function properly,Lingenfelter GT2-3 cam works really well with a Radix setup.I encountered drivability problems with a 228/232,115+4 XER cam,it made great top end power, but had issues with part throttle boost, just off idle and at cruzing speeds.Terriable fuel ecnonmy and a nightmare to drive on wet streets.

I was thinking the GT2-3 but I feel it's a bit small for the 6.0L Great cam but a bit too tame for my taste. Hence my problem....

I agree with you about the GT2-3 in a 6.0L. When the bypass see's 6 inches of vacuum it slams shut so you'll want to have enough vacuum so that your not fighting with it

so you are saying the GT2-3 is too small? LPE puts it in most of their 5.7/6.0 vettes with great gains.

no doubt, it's bigger than a stock cam and is well designed. doesn't mean there aren't better choices. he said he felt it was to small for a 6.0L and I agree with him, but you already know that

I guess we are all entitled to our own opinions I still feel that for the street, and off the shelf availability.....not to mention proven gains, this cam is the best available for a Radix set up.

But then, you are the experienced motor builder now

Kysilverado. But looking at the cam specs it actually has lower lift then my gt2-3 just more exhaust duration.
