Not if the fuel system, cam and tuning is done right but doubtful he will go that high.
My buddy just dyno'd tonight in his 5.7 SS LE Camaro with a blower cam, stock 6.0L heads and a D1 (9psi) and did 548rwhp@5800 where they had to shut down because of fueling issues. So figure he has a chance at about 560-570 at 6300rpm where he is meant to max out. That's not to shabby so I'm not sure how long a stock block would hold up to well over 600rwhp that the 12psi COULD induce lol. Even on C5s which dyno lower than Camaros.
The other thing is PSI is not a good number to go by, its different depending on a lot of stuff. He should be saying how much HP he wants to try and make, not how much PSI.

It can if the fuel system can keep up, and the tune is good. I'm running 12psi of boost in my 6.0l and it is all stock but the valve springs.
12 to 15 psi would be the limit imo, now if better pistons where used......
