Default Questions around procharger rebuild

So it has become evident that i should have the p1sc on the escalade rebuilt if I am going to keep the truck. I have talked to procharger and know my options about rebuilding as a p1sc or as a d1sc.

For the month or so that the vehicle will be without its procharger, I would like to be able to move the vehicle around without the aid of a tow truck. I have a two car garage and three vehicles and the escalade is low car on the totem pole.

My question is this: what else would have to be removed/replaced so that I could start it up and creep from the driveway to the street and back?

Extra question for if I decide to go with the d1sc: with the tune I have now (set for 5 lbs and meth by Allen Nelson when he tuned the vehicle for me before it was shipped to Canada), could I nurse it down the highway about 100 miles to a tune shop that has an AWD Dyno for the new tune? Or just too dangerous and better to rent a vehicle trailer?

Thanks gang.

Just unbolt the bracket, run the stock belt and the stock air box.

Just curious... why does the blower need rebuilt? Also, do you have future plans for your rig?...i dont think 5 lbs of boost requires an upgrade to a d1.

The D1 in it self is going to run better at the same boost level. I will come in alot harder. Make sure you clarify with them about the oil issue. I was told numerous times rite from them that even brand new ones can seep oil from the seal and it is not a warrantied issue..

Cost on a P1 to D1 is usually about 1100-1400
