I have a ly6 6.0 all stock if I put 60lb injectors in it will it idle and run normal? And also i'm in the process of buying parts for a turbo build how much boost will the injectors fuel me up to ? What amount of boost can the 2007.5 ly6 handle with 3-5 yrs of reliability? Advice will be appreciated. I will post pics of my build this summer. Not sure if it will be front mount or remote mounted ; im scared of burning wires and stuff underhood.

 

The injectors will run fine if they are tuned correctly. They will fuel you past the limits of a stock motor if your running pump gas. I wouldn't run more than around 7-8lbs if you want that longevity out of the engine, but honestly you shouldn't expect that building a stock boosted setup if you are very rough on things at all. If had an excellent tune that was conservative, and kept your shift rpm's down, you could probably do it if you don't beat on it every day. Front mount is what everybody runs just wrap everything up and you'll be fine.

 

Meh...just run a colder thermostat and you can feed it more boost than your tires can handle

So stock injectors will fuel me 6psi of boost?
Will my stock manifolds fliped work and what diesel exhaust is the best for low engine niose and high turbo whistle?
Front mount turbine A/R .96 remote mount A/R .85 does all that sound correct ?
What about compressor A/R I haven't had any advice on compressors?
This is for a 2007.5 ly6 6.0L I tow a travel trailer about 8k-12k miles per year. But street performance is most desired.
What wheel sizes 72-76mm ? I'm sorry for pounding out hundreds of questions but this is my first build and i'm not rich so the first time must be right! No big BANGS! Or bad boost
