I am looking at pulling the trigger on a kit from an 00-03 truck. Procharger told me that it wouldn't fit and I would need a new mounting plate, this true???

Also they said it wouldn't work because the 00-03 trucks were mechanical throttle cable and 03-06 were electronic....what does that have to do anything?

Looking to pull the trigger on this this week so any feedback would be great. Thanks guys.
Good call on the 60's. I thought you already had the 44's or I would have recommended getting 60's right off the bat.

I've used 99-03 mounting plates on numerous 04-07 classic trucks. The only troublem you may run into is with the air filter hitting the brake booster and brake lines. You can either tweak the lines out of the way or just pick up a 3.75" or 4.0" K&N style cone filter that will bolt directly to the procharger head unit. You won't be able to recirculate the air from your bypass but it won't effect your performance.

Procharger may have been refering to the weak Diablo tuning they provide with their kits. It might have some programming for the drive-by-wire TB's on the 04-07 trucks. Since you are changing injectors you'll be going with a full tune so it will have no bearing on your install.

Perfect, just want I needed to hear. I have a buddy that has 44lb injectors, I just need to pay him for them but now I'll be going with the 60's.

Lets the fun begin.
