02 2500HD 6L P1@11psi Meth- Dual Magnaflows-every other thing stock.
Just got off the dyno my timing was at 0* at full boost the tuner took it to
10* and I picked up 100 whp. now 425whp
Now it is smog time in Ca. Took it to the shop Passed with flying colors in
pm,nox,co my truck is 66% cleaner then the average in Ca.
Shows what a good tune will do.

The first tune was by the installer. I think he was trying to protect the motor because I some times pull a trailer. This last dyno tune was done with HP Tuners and I asked why not 15* or more the tuner said he was avoiding knock.
We tuned with Meth and af# all look good. The only way I would run more timing is with LT Headers it is just too pluged up.
It can't be too "jacked" The truck weighs 7100 lbs. I run a 3200 stall.
At the track I have to run in 4X4 to hook up I get a 1.98 60' and 14.2 ET
Try that with a 7100# brick all stock with a compressor.

SVS R&D in Sacramento Ca. $500. for the dyno tune and I had him wire my Efans. The Nelson harness came incomplete no conectors for the fan and short wires, took 4 hours labor just for the fan wiring and mounting relays.

You shouldn't be seeing knock at 10*, or 15* for that matter, especially with meth. I'm currently running 14#'s of boost and 20.5* timing and have no KR at all, and have never seen KR on any of my logs.

I told the tuner I wanted numbers. He said I need LT Headers to open-up the motor and run more timing. Does that sound right to you?
