Hey guys. I was wondering if anybody could tell me if a procharger kit off of a 2007 Chev 5.3 truck would work on a 2001 Yukon with a 5.3 litre engine? Would the boost come in right off of idle?

 

The kit should work, with some minor mods I would think.. Your not building boost of idle with and centri style blower.. It will reach its max boost at the top of the rpm range right before the shift points..

 

you will probably need different mounting brackets and maybe some different intercooler piping... nothing too serious.

 

well i know they mount up the same but the 04 and up are different brackets then the 03 and earlier BUT the 04 and up i think will work with the earlyer years but the 03 and earlier wont work with the later years because of the master cylinder ...lol... if that makes sence .
