allballz57 said use a super pulley,which is a clutched one way(like a bicycle)cog pulley,it won't let you throw the belt on quick deceleration since it freewheels,

its not acually the throwing the belt off part installing a new belt is a bitch

Could work, though not sure I'd be willing to risk the destruction of a head unit to try. If your at the point of a cog, move up to the F1. IMO, a cog is not needed to get the D1sc running good. I was able to get 14 psi out of the 6-rib set up on the same belt for 2 years. I'm currently seeing 23 psi out of my 8-rib setup (with a few tricks) with zero belt issues. You guys with belt issues....the first thing you need to do is check pulley/belt allignment.

I hope y'all know I was kidding about dragging any mpt76 truck. I'm sure a 76 could be built to run pretty good.

I'd go t88 I'm sure there is one in the 9s. Don't know if there is a D1 in the 9s.
