Really ???what was youre 8th mph ? I raced a real nice guy ...Matt who had a duramax sponsored /bellows...5 k tranny the works and pulled him real hard and he runs 12.5's all day long he's at 535 RWHP ...are you running a 6.0 ? I have a custom ground cam ...and a FI tuner who specializes in FI/turbos...again i was almost pegging 90 mph on stock 20,s street tires 2wd yesterday ...I could NEVER leave the line on boost at all...my tuner is gonna let me use some of his slicks for the next time out ...he said as well I was knocking high 11's ... that track is only 8th mile ....not bad for the little p1sc /no meth/ power adders on a ECSB ..lol

 

I spent a ton a time on building a polished cold air intake, looked cool but lost boost and increased IAT the aluim. acts as a huge heat soak. I just put the filter on the comp.

 

yeah i dont know how your getting yours close to 11's time, last time i was out at the track i was only running 8-9 lbs of boost and my 60 ft was 2.11, 1/8 was 8.7 @ 83mph , 1/4 was 13.55 @101.05 mph. i know im faster now probably around 12.9 or so but nowhere near 11's .... im so confused on how your running almost 11's i know your camed but gezzus!! the elevation at my track is somewhere around 2600 feet ... and yeah its a 6.0

 

I was using these claculations and the fact it picked up so much MPH with street tires and a lowsy 60' @ 90 mph est. 11.90's

we figured with slicks and the fact i raced that 12-5 truck a couple times and walked him pretty good ...sounds like its probably just wishful thinking on all our parts I guess i just need to get the slicks and go to the Crandell track next ...before we all just assume...but iam very happy with the power its making for a 4800lb truck ...I still think you should be in the 12 easy acording to 84 mph in the eight you are 12-8's or less unless you falling on down on top end ... iam gonna try to bypass the valve like you did and see what happens ...thanks for all the info...

 

yeah that calculator thing didnt work good with my time sheet , didnt line up at all...lol. yeah get your truck to the track and see what you run, it will be interesting...

"Where is everyone getting there injectors from"? Im still running stock I want to upgrade but I dont want to have to cut any wires I just want to pop them in...

 

Mostly ebay / parts boards / ect the 8.1's are the stock plug and play
dependent on fuel psi
Stock 8.1 29-31 lbs $90-$170 used to new
8.1 marine injectors 42-44 lbs $175-+++$400 new

some others are plug and play but they will be more usually and do youre resaech befor eyou buy...you will need a tune afterwords so best to do it after you get most of your mods done

 

so i just got my d1sc on my 04 silverado ss with a 3 core intercooler. im at 5400 ft at the track so am i looking at 14's? that sucks.
