procharger CAI

I remember reading a while back when a few were doing this that the little bit of power you may gain by dropping the iats is reduced by the restrictions you put in moving the filter. The supercharger pushes air much more efficiently than it pulls. Basically if you relocate it, the pipe needs to be as straight and short as possible, no 90* or 180* bends.
I haven't actually verified this, but this was the general consensus at the time.

Man I don't know how you got a 4" tube to go "under" and get by the charge tube to the intercooler!
To answer the questions about restrictions, I seen 12lbs of boost before and after the swap...no change.
Honestly the big change is how fast the IAT's will drop after a run. Last night at the strip I would see the IAT at the end of the run as high as 159 degrees and on the return road it would drop to 100 or so.

Is that 4" all the way to the MAF? Looks really clean. Nice improvement over the 3" from my kit. Does it go back to 3" after the MAF?

i wanna see how u made a 4 in. pipe fit under the charger. Mines a tight fit as it is and i know i dont have 4 inches to spare with the outlet on the charger going to the intercooler, BOV, relays for electric fans, electric junction box, master cylinder, and steering being in the way. Maybe the f1 is diff. but the only way i see that working for me is hacking my innerfender.
