Default procharger CAI

anybody ever built one or is there somewhere i can buy one? i want to build my own maybe out of intercooler piping and intercooler boots,pvc,or flex pipe. not sure what size piping to use or would be the best fitment. i really dont want to reduce down from the intake on the supercharger(4in. i believe). anybody with one or any ideas please chime in. oh and whos truck is this, if a member send me his way cause i am interested on how he built his. -THANKS

One guy I know of did it... If you do do it I wouldn't do it from metal.. To be honest I can't see it making a difference.. i have mine in the stock spot, my IATs on a 95 degree day, never went above 102...

It will lower your AIT a few degrees (5-10) but I saw about 1/2 lb drop in boost.

ok thanks for the info. i may have to mock a quick one up out of pvc that i can put on or take off when i go to the track to see if it is worth it. are you guys running the two or three core intercooler.

The stock place of the filter is not bettering anybodys set up ... Or atlease non that I seen. So I am kinda skepy on it.

Funny you should ask, just completed mine. Need to take a better pic.
Already had my battery relocated so that made it easier, removed the windsheild washer tank and moved the electical center back and that opened up a big space.
I used metal 4" tube and coated it with Lizard skin, have yet to drive the truck but going to the track tonite if it doesn't rain again!

Damn!...looks like u got a pretty healthy setup. Keep me posted if u get any better track times. im curious to see if its worth my time to build one. thanks
