i asked that same question on tech back in march. i was told F-1C. not sure what the C is all about but that's what was recommended. There are several sponsors on tech that can get you whatever you need.

Yeah, show me some pics of what people with a bunch of money do to their trucks!
Just seeing how much of Mike's money (TIGERFAN187) I can talk him into spending! We have this truck torn apart! It is hillarious that we went to the track & talked about just heads & it has evolved to this (AT LEAST A $$15K BUILD$$) we have been working on the upgrades on the suspension, brakes, & fuel system. Mike has some great pictures of the process, hopefully he will provide a link.

As for my motor, I pretty much lost all my **** when everything went down with Brad. I sprayed a 300 shot on my motor her a few weeks ago & fried a piston. I will be putting one in tomorrow. I am starting over again with mikes ls1 assembly & an iron block. I was going to take it to PTS in minden but now i am a bit leary.........

i know that you can replace a p1sc with a d1sc because the head units are the same size
with the same blot pattern, but the f1 unit is huge, i don't think the f1 will fit in a p1sc brackets.

now i would say that a d1sc would feed your 408, but it really comes down to what size
of a cam shaft and at what lsa the cam is on.
too big of a cam and i will have to say your going to need a f1 unit to feed the 408

We are doing everything @ Mikes shop. They previously rented it out to do work on fire trucks. You should come by. The place is very large, open, & well lighted. It is as nice as anything I have here at the dealership. Mike has also invested a good bit of money in setting everything up. Besides being a nice comfortable place, its fun just to hang out & take our time.

As for the question about my engine stuff, have you heard anything about what happened to Brad? I do not want to sya anything to specific about the situation but I will tell you the story. Brad is no longer in Bossier, he now works at a parts dealer in haughton. It is very complicated but boils down to me just being too nice about things.

That sounds pretty cool! What's the location? I'll try to come by sometime this week.

I heard something about all brad's help leaving. I didn't hear anything after that though.

Mike should chime in, we will be there this weekend again (sunday) to put another head on my truck. I do not know if you still have my number, pm me & i will give it to you.

Brad lost his shop, moved to haughton, alot of unhappy people lost alot in the process. I was friends with him & we had worked out some trade on a couple of things. He recieved his end but i never recieved mine, with everyone else gunning for him I just chalked it up to me making poor decisions. Never mix business & freindship.

I have been running prochargers for years not just on trucks and daily drivers but on drag cars as well. The D1SC will support you very well with your 408 I am going to be doinga 427 short block in 07-08 and fully plan to keep my D1sc. An F series blower would be great but quite honestly.. you don't need that kind of power. I have street cars running into the low 9's on D1sc's making huge huge numbers. Defintely will be set with a D1sc kit. I would say if you are doing your own tuning.. or have a tuner and I think it is a good guess you are providing your own injectors you can run the D1sc in a tuner kit package that will save you some money by deleting the option for the programmer and the injectors.

The D1sc is rated to handle 950 hp.. if you make that then I say you are setting some records.

Good luck hope that helped!
