Default Procharger For 408 Help!!!

I was in the process of doing a HC NA 408 setup. Im actually still in the process as the old LS1 and tranny are out. Im getting the shortblock from Texas Speed and it hasnt been put together yet as they are waiting on blocks to arrive. I had planned on doing FI in a few years but after seeing the money I would save by doing it now I cant justify waiting. Im wanting to do a Procharger but havent found what Im looking for yet. Ive put a few calls in to sponsors but havent heard back. I read that the P1SC isnt the best model to get with a 408. So I would need a D1SC or a F1 that I havent found much on. Also all the truck kits that are out as far as on the sponsors sites are for the P1SC. So Im assuming getting one of these kits with a D1SC wouldnt be an issue. Can someone put me in the right direction here? Thanks!

I will be doing a FLT 80,etc... also.

A d1sc will not be a problem. Most of the sponsers should have them available. I purchased a d1sc kit for my truck that is a direct fit. The only F1 unit on a truck that I have seen was 2toneblown's and he did away with his a/c and mad custom brackets to mount it. I don't know if you could just modify the p1/d1 bracket to fit the F1 unit or not.

For a daily driven 6.7L I'd highly recomend the D1SC. With a 3.4" pulley it should make all the power you'd need on a street/strip truck (for a bit anyway, lol).

God tell me about it. I went from just doing heads and intake 2 months ago, to heads, intake and balancing my LS1, to HC NA 408 setup with FLT 4l65E, to now a Procharged 408 setup with FLT 4l80E,etc.... for some reason I dont think Im gonna change my mind again! Its amazing what an empty engine bay will do to a person. Ive put a message through to Exotic on some prices but havent figured out if I need the 2 or 3 core IC. Anyone?

Greed! No I just started to think that I always wanted to do FI and whats another $4-5k. Plus the engine bay is empty. Another reason is myself and people close to me seem to be hated by n20. So now I have a hell of a n20 kit that needs a truck!

YOU SHOULD LET RICHARD HAVE A PREVIEW OF WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO THE LAST MONTH. SHOW HIM SOME OF THE PICS WE HAVE TAKEN.

-RICHARD, THIS WILL BE A SICK BUILD WHEN WE GET THROUGH. IT HAS GONE WAY BEYOND JUST THE ENGINE & TRANNY.

Blake, what have you been up too? Did you ever get your motor built yet? Mine's up at PTS and should be ready tomorrow. Of course them ******** have been saying that for over 5 weeks now...

Yeah, show me some pics of what people with a bunch of money do to their trucks!
