#1
04 yukon 5.3. cammed built bottom end.circle d convertor and built tranny. seeing about 8psi on a p1sc. top of first gear i start seeing 130+ iats and truck starts pulling timing. saw 140 max i think in high 2nd when doing a holeshot. what should i do? relocate iat?
also can i can get a 160 degree thermostat for this? i would like to cut out as much heat as possible

I relocated the 3 core procharger intercooler from the bottom (flat angle) to the front of the radiator using the same tubing and on a 100* weather the iats were 180*, on 10# of boost.

Yah has to be, that is pretty hot.. I have a 3 core, front mount under the valance, on 90-95 deg days I never saw my iat's go over 110.. You need to upgrade the cooler..

i cleaned out and remounted the intercooler so it could get more direct air, then cleaned my maf and relocated the iat with a camaro sensor right by the throttle body. havent relogged it since relocating the sensor but the angle of the intercooler was good for about 20 degree drop. much better, didnt pull timing
