Default Problem with missing/bogging above 6 psi

I'm having a problem with my motor missing or bogging when I get above about 6 or 7 psi on the turbo. I can run 6-7* WOT and it's fine, but part throttle has a few issues, and WOT above about 6 psi has issues. Scanner is not showing any KR, and I'm only running 11* of timing right now, so it should be fine. AFR is right about 11.5, I'm using TR6 plugs gapped to .035, and stock plug wires. I have no idea what's going on......anyone have any ideas? It accelerates well until I hit a certain boost level then feels like it starts to stutter or something.

What is your compression again? Regaurdless I know it was fairly low and you shouldn't be having issues. Put your timing back where it was and richen it up and see what happens. Just to help rule things out.

How rich? Maybe 10.5? I'm about 9.5:1 SCR and 7.0:1 DCR

Yeah, something like that just add some at the level it starts to miss at. Some engines need a little more fuel at higher levels also your wideband could be a little off.

I watched the wideband and the stock narrowbands and they were switching right where the WB read 14.7. Not a bad idea to do another free-air calibration on it though, I think it's been awhile.

Are you sure its not RPM related? My truck would do the same thing, and I thought it was boost related too. It turns out when my crankcase was puking oil it got on my crank sesnor and ruined it. The truck would run but at around 4000rpm it would sputter and miss.

It runs fine all the way up the RPM's when I'm not in boost or in lower boost. If I crank the boost controller all the way down and run it at 5psi I have no issues at all.

Not that I'm an expert, because I'm not, but when I was at the shop the other day and talking about what all has been going on with my truck I mentioned that I was running the TR6's with .035. They suggested a smaller gap, maybe .032-.03..

Also, when I first got the truck running I had not changed the gap on the stock plugs and it sure felt like it was actually blowing out the spark and was falling off. Seemed if after a certain throttle position it would start to run better again. Maybe when the boost hits it's too much, blows out the spark , then it clears don't know but that is just my little 2 cents worth. Be pretty quick deal to close em up a bit..

I've run TR6's gapped at 0.035 all the way up to 12psi with a 9.5:1 DCR on pump gas with no issues of spark blow out.

Have you pulled them yet? Check it to see if they're dirty or fouled.
