Default Powerdyne silverado 5.3l

I have a 2000 chevy silverado with a 5.3l. I recently purchased a powerdyne bd11a kit and it came with a fuel management unit. I was wondering that now i have upgraded to a 255lph in tank fuel pump and 42lb injectors would i need to get rid of the fmu? Do i need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator as well?

Would there be any advantage to using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? Needed?

The stock FPR should be fine. I have been running the stock one all along with the STS and hi-boost setting of 12 psi. I have been running the STS for 4 years.
