Default Old School MP90---Worth it???

I am thinking about picking up an old MP90 kit.

Sent a PM to BlownChevy, and he said it wasn't worth the time, but of course I want a few more opinions

I know that I will not get nearly the gains of a MP112, but it will be half the price (1k-1500 or so). I will be happy with a 75rwhp gain. Doable?

I would run meth to try and keep the IATs in check.

So what do you guys think, worth it or not?

I still don't think it's worth it for that price. Maybe if you could get it for $500 but even then I'm not sure it's worth messing around with.

Like I said, it was a great blower for its time. Now that we have all had a taste of what is available from Magna Charger, the MP90 sidemount is not worth it. I am offering 1000.00 trade in value on them when you purchase a Radix 112 or new TVS1900 system. See if you can score it for 500.00, it will be like money in the bank

[QUOTE=moregrip;4367754]and where the hell have you been?

Unfortunately............................I've been here ALL YEAR!!!! But................the down time gave me some time to complete my new 370/TVS1900 project. Runs good, so far, although tuning it with 11:1 comp, and #10 boost is tricky. I'm doing some vac line "re-packaging" for the winter, and hope to have some track times this year. Unless............................................ ...........I end up back in Bangkok, or China, or Africa, or Quatar!

no heat exchanger, 2 generations old, not even for 5 bills would I think of putting one on a V8. Damn they barely propelled a 6 cyl Never understood why they didn't offer them on the V6 firebirds....
