non intercooled kits who runs them??

Stupid to run non Intercooled in any forced induction.
Maybe a stock 9.4:1 4.8/5.3 tune with a dead on tune could get away with a few 5-6psig.
Op ur asking for trouble running non intercooled on a 10:1 lq9

This is what happend when you rock a little too much bling. Recovered an hour later also minus my half my interior and a very long list of other things. Engine was half unbolted all mods gone.

I work in the hood. This is my daily truck for work. It would not last very long if an intercooler was visible.
I think it's pointless as most of the time it will be in heavy traffic hardly any air flow through an intercooler anyways.

I'm running a non-intercooler setup only because I didn't have the money at the time. My IATs are easily 155*-160* during part throttle pulls in the summer. Needless to say I will be adding an IC in a couple of weeks.

That was in las vegas. I am in Boston now and it's just as bad. Since 03 It has been stolen twice and broken into 3 times. Pager alarm the whole works jimmy jammers were no match for a hole saw. Nothing works when your truck is in a parking structure a mile away.

Have you thought about installing one of those buttons that you have to hold down every time you start your truck? I thought about hiding one of those in my steering wheel control buttons.
