Curious why no one seems to run many Garret's on here? I'm guessing cost.

Mainly I'd like to see how many have ran gt4202's. I'm curious how they would perform against a similar Borg charger, say a 72-75mm s400. As of now I'm leaning toward a 72/83/1.0 s400.

I've used a few, mostly GT91's They cost more and I don't think you get a better turbo for it. Several of my customers have had issues with thrust bearings failing in them when you really turn them up. I usually stick with Borg Warner's for my bigger builds.

 

Right on man. Many thrust issues on the 4202's? Borg is about ~$400 cheaper so....

 

I don't know about those, The ones I've seen were on a Gt91 and a hybrid 76/94.
