that really needs to pass through an intercooler.
your sucking in hot air from the exhaust, heated oil from the motor.
plus what friction is helping the unit heat up.
thats allot of hot air.

the main thing is getting you to make pressure.
the 2 black 90 are joined with a small peace of pipe, i will guess.
if you have the stock laying around, cut a longer peace, in the middle drill and tap a hole so you can place a fitting to hook your turbo gauge up to.
if the unit is making boost, it should start to read pressure before you open the throttle body enough to let that pressure in.

if paxton statment is true that this unit can not feed your motor.
what little boost builds to that point where the throttle lets the pressure in should drop
fast.
now if the unit can feed your motor the pressure should build higher as the rpms increase.
now this test will show what the unit is doing from the scrool to the throttle body.

forgot to add, you can get a fitting from home depot in the plumbing section.
a peace of vacume will be needed to hook your turbo gauge up.

Tomorrow when the parts store opens, i'm gonna go and get 1 more clamp and see of that clears things up, but I will do the pipe thing and see if theres a difference in boost pressures. If not my HP Tuners has the option of changing manifold pressure to read as boost. As for the size of the blower, I can't see it being too small. My buddy has it on his 5.0 mustang and the 5.3 is a little bigger s o it should be ok. Like I said earlier, the one for the 6.0 flows something like 50 cfms than the 1000.

Now that I've seen pictures I am 99% sure it's spinning the wrong direction. Remove the filter, rotate the input pulley clockwise and observe the turbine. Also, where's your blow-off valve?

I can't see it going the wrong way, theres a **** load of air going out the tube but will check. The air tubes are temporary, there's an intercooler there but I wanted to test it before i start adding in other factors. I do have a blow off though.

Maaaan that sucks, if my engine turns clockwise like James says an I observe...then the blower is spinnin backwards. But how in the hell can it push so much air backwards? I guess the next question is leaving it where it sits in the bracket, how can i reverse the belt so itlll spin the blower the right way? Wow I know I ain't no genius, but stevie wonder coulda figured that one out. I mista been on somethin good I swear I double checked it.

statments came early about reverse rotation.
now the only way it can work is to flip it around,
or find the right blade for it.

Well got a hold of paxton and theres no way to reverse anything inside. The outer casings are the same with the 1000 and reverse rotation but other than that, the innerds are completely different. Thanks for all the help guys.
