Nitrous through Radix Intercooler
#1
Is it possible to run NOS through an intercooler. how does that work. And whats the shot amount the i can put And i think the intercooler is liquid to air and if not i can be corrected. Sorry, but i feel dumn asking these questions. But i need to ask in order to know.

have a radix wth intercooler,10lb pulley.nelson performance tuning transgo reprogramming shift kit.4:10's, electric fans. 80mmTB, ait intake, 43lb injectors that came with the radix. edelbrock headers, with 26inch licks MT ran it in edenburg TX. do u know what size the the 10lb pulley i called allen nelson but talked to jonathan and he told me it was a 2.8 inch

You can run nitrous through the radix, but I'm pretty sure it has some negative long term effects on the rotor seals and the coating on the rotors. I'm not possitive though, as I'm just going of what I've heard on here. I would think a direct port setup with a radix would be fine, and it would kick some serious ***! It would be a lot of work though for a small shot.

Meth, h2o or meth/h2o injection is chemical intercooling. Each fluid has specific properties and as I remember, etoh has the highest cooling effect, followed by water, then meth, but meth brings some almost magical properties to the table.
Us turbo guys use meth because it lets us crank up the boost past where we could normally run, and some say past where an alternate chemical intercooler would let you run. Alternately, and this applies to the radix kit very well, you can crank up the timing. The other magical property is extra explosive power in methanol (it is race fuel after all) and a boost to octane. A meth kit can be used to supplement a weak fuel system, but you shouldn't rely on it to do so.
Water just cools the charge without the extra power.
H2o + meth is a compromise -- less cooling than straight water, more extra meth goodness than straight water, but less than meth.
N2o also can act as a chemical intercooler, but as mentioned above is bad for a radix internally. Etoh is another alternative, but imo Meth is better than either as an intercooler -- leave n2o in the poweradder isle.
