i have had meth on a STS kit that i had. it work well but i had to fill up the tank all the time. the radix meth kit i did not like so much, did not see good gains and it was way to rich for the setup and hard to tune.

i have a wet kit that im runing now and as of this week i will be the new owner for a KB turbo kit, do i just put the nitrous kit on there for a little kick. or get meth one more time.

 

what yall think. i know someone has been down the same road....

 

Depending on your boost level you can run both. Meth for added timing and nitrous for cooling and denser air charge. Either way you will need to retune.

You cannot possibly be taking full advantage of the adders without a retune. You should be able to run more timing and if tour spraying a wet kit and meth I would think your at least 17-20% too rich up top. I had to remove 17% of wot fuel fo rmeth and I added 6 degrees more timing.

 

That's a lot of WOT timing...

 

I was only really spraying alot of meth when I maxed my 42's and ran more timing, Ive since jetted the meth down with less boost and larger injectors. I will probably only use it when upping the boost.

 

23 degrees WOT with my meth properly tuned, no knock retard.

 

Aaahhh, 23 isn't bad if you have knock and fueling in check . Bet it runs good!!
