Default Next mod for my 14.

I am not ready to swap to 6.2 yet or do a cam I don't think. However I think I'll do something in my slow season before Spring. My thoughts are Lt4 pump, injectors and low side inline setup from weaponx motorsports for E85. I know I may have Whipple manifold issues but I'll get it done. Or...Speed engineering 1 7/8 headers and either 3" dual kit probably with magnaflow mufflers or a 4 or 5 in. single setup. Either way pulley down a bit for more boost. Kind of leaning toward the fueling next even though stock exhaust limits things at this point. Next year go all out more than likely for a 10 second truck. Need to do it in stages though so I can expand my business. Far more important. So, which? I likely won't do both now. Thoughts gentlemen?

Do the exhaust and max out the truck with stock fuel.

If you going to do the E85 kit don't don't spend the money on that kit. You can do it you self in 30 mins and spend about 65.00 bucks like I did.

Then you could add speed engineering headers into the mix with the money you saved.

the biggest $ per hp mod I did on my blown 5.3 was exhaust, so my vote is exhaust.

Do the fueling all at once. Do pump, injectors, low side and E85 all at once. Less down time, only need to meet with the tuner once to get things dialed in

My truck is already E85 but my stock fueling won't support it with the Whipple is why I am needing all that junk.

Man I would love to do both. Probably add 150 hp. Maybe I should save for it longer.

Open the exhaust up.

1 7/8 headers with a 6.2 exhaust will do wonders.

You may even see a couple less psi but after a re-tune it should be night/day difference.

Hey man did you see what Pmoore made with just his high and low side upgrade and his Whipple. His tuner "said" he could pick up another 100 hp if he swapped cams to have a bigger fuel lobe. But 532 hp and 497 torque ain't to bad for a basically stock engine.

My latest thoughts are I am pretty sure I don't want to do headers but I would either do a 6.2 exhaust or maybe a Magnaflow 4" cat back that is turn key and shouldn't drone. I could do a cutout also. I believe I want to do an in tank pump I think it's the 465 and Lt4 injectors but keep my hpfp so I don't have to screw with modifying the Whipple manifold since my pump is good for high 600's. I am also considering a cam change with fuel lobe and keep the afm. HOW MUCH LABOR FOR AN LT CAM INSTALL? If it's too damn much I may just jump to a 6.2. I'm making some $ so I may do it fairly soon. Then I could just forget the whole thing and do fuel and turbo and recover $ from selling the Whipple. Open to any and all suggestions except I'd prefer no headers since it's my work truck.

I would just jump to a 6.2.
