I've asked for quotes from 2 local shops. Cam +32% and hardware, injectors and Lpfp maybe Hpfp pulley down and tune for E85. I'll see if it's reasonable or if I jump to 6.2, cam and mods. Any suggestions on local shops? Getting serious for 600+ whp maybe more.

I'm ready to do it now. I am undecided if I want to drop a cammed 6.2 in if I can find one for a decent price or go forged if not. With 6.2 I could run moderate boost with LT4 fueling and low side or cam the 5.3 and run more boost. I only have a 6 rib remember and not sure if the 8 rib Camaro pulleys work. What my MAIN concern though is a 6000 lb daily driver with a 6l80. Unloaded at the track maybe 5100. I don't want the trans to **** the bed. I've seen stories both ways. Some last. Some don't. I really want 650 min and would love 750. 900 could be a future goal don't have to have it now but planning. Is it possible to cut timing enough between shifts to make this trans live at 6k lbs daily. I do not beat on it but I don't want to worry. As of now not 1 single shop to my knowledge has a 4l80 conversion. An 8l90 is '15 and up and I understand they can break too. A CC at 950 whp broke a 6l80 and 2 8l90's so.

it says they fully inspect the engine once its pulled and if they happen to miss something and it's unusable im sure you could get a full refund...been using Ebay since 2000 and Ive never been burned, although it does suck they charge tax now
