Default New Truck!

I just bought a 2006 silverado with the 5.3 auto I have had it about a month and I have already put silverado ss wheels, flowmaster exauste, beltech, and a hypertech powerpac on it, but I am looking for some serious power adder it seems as though all you guys have turbo kits, I do like the Radix but I don't think they have that good of a potential so I might go with the turbo let me know what the best kits are because I don't want a homemade kit I would like to make 500 rwhp, and keep in mind this is a low mile truck all stock so I have to keep it nice thinks!

Radix not that good of potential? There are some 11 and 12 second trucks with radix's and bolt ons. So not that good of potential is BS IMO.

On a stock 5.3 is not that good, and also you have belt slippage, I work with a bunch of GTP guys they all swiched to turbo's because they couldn't break 11's and also had slippage problems! And even if you have a built engine you can only get so much boost with an eaton, turbo's are more efficient they don't use horsepower!

Having a 10 second daily driver is a breakdown waiting to happen no matter what you're using. You'll spill your stock bottom end or blow your tranny all over the road in less than 20,000 miles.
To run those times with as much reliability as possible you'd better have atleast $12,000 sitting around waiting to be spent.
Anything is possible but it's not cheap.

There's several people on here FI w/ the 5.3. Trever come to mind when i think of them, he is in the 11's, but he is supercharged. It is attainable, but you have to pay to play. More horsepower and you may have to uprgade your rearend, transmission, and driveline. There's sponsors on the right>> for all of that. Fuel system is another must if your looking for 500rwhp. The sponsors i can think of that sell front mounts are:

TrickPerformance
kbracing
Nelson
If im missing somebody, please correct me. Good luck on your project, and ask just ask questions, it may save you from alot of hassle.
