Keep your options open. Don't count out the radix as that thing gets these big trucks moving very quickly.

+1.HHHUUUHHH!!!??? A Radix is a nice piece. Even a turbo has something u might not like. More tuning req., bla bla, search or just look @ sticky under FI. Pros & cons to both. Arm yourself w/ knowledge 1st, then decide.

Everything has limits.

U want both? Both what? Street & Track?

Anything is possible but it's not cheap.
Agreed.

More horsepower and you may have to uprgade your rearend, transmission, and driveline. There's sponsors on the right>> for all of that. Fuel system is another must if your looking for 500rwhp. The sponsors i can think of that sell front mounts are:

TrickPerformance
kbracing
Nelson
If im missing somebody, please correct me. Good luck on your project, and ask just ask questions, it may save you from alot of hassle.
+1. Nelson too? I wasn't sure if he did 1, but I read so much, I forget sometimes.

500 is doable with our stock kit turning the boost up to around 12psi. There is a huge difference is 10' or 11's.
Tranny is usually the first thing to go south. So you might check into a different unit there.
The thing I like about turboing these trucks the systems can grow with you over time.
You can install an INTRO kit, and leave the boost at 6psi and have some fun for awhile, a day or two. LOL Then when you are ready to do a tranny swap start turning the wick up.
If you want more or plan on going to a larger engine then the Street Stalker maybe what you are looking for. We will build the kit around your final goals..
Now keep in mind our kits are for off road use only, and you will have to build or have built the final exhaust connection.

let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Rick

I also sell a turbo hot parts only kit if you are some what of a do-it-yourselfer. It's the same hot parts I have on my 4.8 and it makes 500 hp in high boost (11psi). Let me know if this might be something your looking for.

Wow, that's one hell of a run-on sentence!!

In addition to what others have mentioned, you might want to look at an STS turbo kit as well. That kit uses a remote turbo mounting system so the turbo isn't up in the engine bay heating things up. And it's a very simple do-it-yourself installation too, because the turbo just mounts in place of your muffler and then you run a return charge pipe back up to the engine, so you don't need to mess with pulling of the headers or anything like that.

You could also get a new cam to boost your power a little. A good cam will run you around $300-$400, and you will usually see at least 30-40hp when adding a cam to a boosted application.

But if you're looking to make 500+ at the wheels, you'd be better of swapping out the tranny before you even touch the engine. Hell, my tranmission failed on my after just getting a custom Wester's tune (which included removing the TM and slightly boosting the line pressure).
